“Hollingworth is very proud to be a partner of the No Excuses University Network, “ said Principal Kim. “The focus on college readiness we believe, will allow our students to have more opportunities in their future. As we move into our second year of partnering with NEU we see a greater awareness about college and a deep desire from students to go to college. We at Hollingworth realize that there really should be no excuses in helping children to do their very best. We can’t wait for the day when our former students return to us to tell us which colleges they have been accepted into!”
Hollingworth Elementary has worked diligently to expose students to powerful college symbolism as part of the No Excuses University program. College flags and banners are hung on doors across the campus. Classroom bulletin boards are dedicated to each college or university.
